TEIBAS collects contributions from, and provides service to over 450 electrical contractors in the Greater Toronto Area. The day-to-day administration of the plan is handled by TEIBAS with active support from the union office. TEIBAS exclusively serves over 11,000 active and retired members of the IBEW Local 353. The trust funds have assets totalling more than $1.5 billion.

Overall policy direction is provided by the Board of Trustees, which is made up of eight members—four appointed by the Greater Toronto Electrical Contractors Association (GTECA) and four appointed by IBEW Local 353.
