Celebrate Men’s Health Month this June with TEIBAS. Canada’s Men’s Health Month is an important reminder to men that we know, of all ages and backgrounds, that their health matters. Whether it’s you, your spouse, a brother or friend, this month raises awareness about the physical and mental health challenges facing men across the country. In Canada, the average life expectancy for men is almost four years shorter than women. Did you know? According to the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation 70% of men’s health issues are preventable.

Men face higher risks of serious health conditions like heart attack, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers. Teladoc research shows, that for men over 50, cancer and heart disease pose the greatest threat to health as the leading causes of death in Canada. Heart disease is known to impact men earlier in life, with four times more men aged 25-44 suffering from heart attacks than women of the same age. This Men’s Health Month, we encourage all members to take small actions like booking a medical checkup, exercising regularly, or reaching out for support if you need it.
