February 19, 2026, is Pension Awareness Day, an initiative launched in 2023 by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario https://www.fsrao.ca/pensionawareness. The initiative helps people better understand the value of a pension plan, the many benefits it offers, and the importance of planning early for retirement. Now in its fourth year, Pension Awareness Day continues to grow, bringing together organizations like TEIBAS from across Canada to engage in conversations and educate on how pensions play a vital role in supporting the long-term financial well-being of individuals, families and communities.

Retirement may seem far away, until it’s not. It’s never too early or too late to start planning. Pension Awareness Day is the perfect opportunity to reflect on your retirement planning, stay informed, and take the necessary steps to achieve a more secure financial future for you and your family. Saving and planning for retirement can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone.
